On September 19th 2016 Vancouver Fashion Week announced Ivan Sayers the winner for the Industry Originator Awards - Special Recognition
This awards recognizes veterans of the Vancouver fashion industry who have contributed to the advancement of the local market.
These people have worked endlessly to develop their own success and have helped newcomers in the industry as well.

The audience then joined in to sing Ivan the Happy Birthday song for his 70th birthday!
